Just extremely sad news for someone to die at such an age. NHL can be such an aggressive illness - my mother was lucky to have seven years between her recurrence, but once it came back... *sigh*
I was glad to read that he died on a sunny day, surrounded by his family. Exactly how it should be if it must happen.
More than anything, my thoughts are with his wife, kids and family right now.
