It was apparently on Hewlett's blog. Someone left an anonymous comment.

I feel really frustrated because some of us are writing letters, etc, but we have no idea if they're getting a decent number. And mainstream people who don't go on the internet have no idea what's going on. One of the girls I work with loves the show. I told her Torri was going recurring and she couldn't believe it. She loves the character.

Yeah, and by the time the non-net folk find out, they'll have filmed at least half if not more of season 4!

Exactly. That's why I'm so annoyed by all the "wait and see" people. If you take the wait and see option, they'll kill her off. You know, because they want to "shake things up and boost ratings".

I can't find the mention on Hewlett's blog. Funny. I'll have to see if anyone else knows where it is.

The biggest trouble with blithely going along, 'wait and see', and 'trust the TPTB' is that bad things usually tend to happen, at least with TV shows. The trouble with the writers/producers on this show is that to boost ratings, they seem to think killing a character is the solution...

The only thing that I can see with relation to the four episodes reference is a question I asked on JM's blog (anonymously) after I'd heard from someone else that Torri would only be in four eps. That person said it came from DH's site, but I can't see it there...

This is so frustrating.

Killing a character is not the solution. Hiring writers who can actually do something with the wonderful existing characters they have will solve the problem.

Exactly. You should see what's going on in the shark jumping thread. These people don't think anyone has the right to criticise the show.. Unbelievable.

I'm so annoyed by these people. If she gets screwed out of a job, those of us who've tried have nothing on our consciences, but those who've sat there and said "Oh well" ... they'd better not complain when it happens, because they'll have no right to!
