You are absolutely right about the SUV, they will write it off as a total..........when there is rear and front end damage. Have you gotten any estimates yet? Also, have you a rental part of your insurance? Try Enterprise if you are in need? They often have a deal, at least they did with State Farm who handled my claim. In fact State Farm said they were their #1 preference. They will pick you up at the body shop, and then you drop it off when you pick up your car later. No muss, no fuss.
