Do you mean the BBC natural history series Planet Earth? That was absolutely huge when it aired over here last year, massive ratings, it just looks absolutely stunning.

I have a copy of the version aired in the UK with David Attenborough narrating. I tried to listen to Sigourney Weaver on Discovery, but I couldn't adapt. *g* David Attenborough was born to narrate nature documentaries. Sigourney, much as I love her, wasn't. I do think Planet Earth may be the mother of all nature documentaries by which all others now need to be measured. When I see something like this I'm always very grateful I live in a time where we have the technology to produce it.

Never realized you guys in the UK got it first! Yes, David Attenborough is an excellent narrator. I never even realized it was Sigourney Weaver till I looked at the credits.

Actually I live in the US, but I managed to get a copy of the UK version. I love technology. :)
