Well, to me, the promo shots do sex up Carter (see shot right above). I guess that's just Skiffy's PR to attract the fanboys. However, I find it odd that Carter is the first character listed on the Cast page. Hello? Sheppard's the lead, always has been, and I sure as heck hope still is. For Carter supposedly being in a support type roll, the PR people don't seem to realize it. Yeah, Skiffy's 'shiny new toy' to push SG1 fans to watch SGA, but I wish they'd remember the fans who have watched SGA since day one. Sigh.

Sign me up if there's a campaign. Far as I'm concerned, she has no place whatsoever on SGA, but if she's got to be there, then she shouldn't be top billing.

I have a really bad feeling about this.

I've never had a huge problem with the casting...more that I thought it was inappropriate to the show standing on its own two feet rather than from a character standpoint. The writing never made me feeling anything but a huge dose of 'meh' for Elizabeth - fanfic does her character much better.

However, if the new credits come out and she has lead billing...there will be campaigning like you don't believe.

I'm already campaigning over poor Torri and Paul. I don't think Amanda should be there at all.

I can't stand Carter. Really, really can't stand the character. I'm not thrilled with Keller, either, though I see that as a different situation. She's at least a new character, not one that's been around for ten years.

She'll already be on more money than their lead actor, there's no denying that, so it's not beyond the realms of possibility that they'd give her the lead position in the credits, or give her David's spot at the back. Those are the two most prestigious spots.

Oh, I'm also not a fan of the "Mitchell in season five" crap, either. Not that I have a problem with Mitchell, but when you know that they originally wanted Browder to play Sheppard, that's got to be a bit of a concern.
