September 26, 2007 - Stargate: Atlantis cast member Paul McGillion has revealed that he has auditioned for the role of U.S.S. Enterprise chief engineer Montgomery "Scotty" Scott in director J.J. Abrams' big-screen Star Trek reboot.

Damn, that would actually get me into the theater! I've all but given up on Trek over the last several years, but if Paul were in it, I'd be there in a heartbeat.
