September 26, 2007 - Stargate: Atlantis cast member Paul McGillion has revealed that he has auditioned for the role of U.S.S. Enterprise chief engineer Montgomery "Scotty" Scott in director J.J. Abrams' big-screen Star Trek reboot.

OMG-Squee! I thought I'd seen folks chatting about how he should audition since he'd be perfect for the role, but this is the first I'd heard he'd actually done so. Can't see how they'd find anyone better suited for it.
