Hmm, another contest from SciFi.com for Stargate Atlantis

All you gotta do is visit the main SciFi.com page and you'll see the banner on top, or just click on http://www.scifi.com/atlantis/sweepstakes/. First, ignore the photoshopping disaster on David Hewlett's jaw. You looked? Ah, sorry about that.

Anyway, Skiffy is offering a contest for two people to the set of Stargate Atlantis and, ohmygawd, they're not forcing you to you to sign up on Skiffy (or not, as the problem has been for many years). I just entered, and it worked, so yes, everybody has a chance. It's open to legal US residents only, 18 years or older (sorry, that's how it works).

THAT'S IT! I'm moving to the US.
There are two downsides to living in Canada...
1)I can't get the new eps of SGA (cable provider does not carry Movie Channel either) and 2) I can't enter these contests.
*sighs*
Anyone out there need a roommate?

Thanks for posting the link, I will sweet talk some of my friends in the US into entering and if they win maybe they will be nice enough to take me along.

Umm yes, but those "other sources" (if legislation is passed) will cost me a $20,000 fine per infraction (per dl) plus jail time. Pricy, pricy. Ahhh the things you will do for your favourite show.

Oh the upside, at least the release date for the DVDs are the same as in the US. Can't wait for Tuesday!! *sighs* the DVDs with the awful cover...

Ouch. You'd think that the studios would pay attention to 'other sources' to also gauge the popularity of as how, and go 'hey, we can SELL this stuff now and make a bundle.'

Hmm, I tend to ignore the covers on Stargate DVDs in general as none are that great :(

Alas, the studios never think of the "other sources" as an indicator of popularity. Hopefully they will catch on soon.
