Just wrapped 5 years of Atlantis...very sad. I have never worked with such a wonderful cast, crew and audience. Thank you and goodnight!

Despite the protestations of several on my lj ("I've only ever written for dead fandoms" "the fandom will be around for years"), I'm already noticing the cutback. Fics from my regular sources have dropped off tremendously. I used to see 10-15 a week. Since the announcement, it's been one every day or so. Except for some 300-500 word stories.

It's only natural. Many people are in mourning. I wish it was because I thought they were all writing letters and sending lemons.

I'm sure there are plenty of fics still out there--it's just that they're already not being written by many of my favorite authors. I guess I can only be sad and say, "I told me so." Sigh.

Yeah, I'm always looking for more fic, and I hope that the authors are writing MGM, mourning the loss, doing schoolwork, or just waiting to see what happens. I really need to write some fic myself but haven't done any in too long. Need to get back in the saddle.
