Well, it's coming, and photos have come out. I'll post one under the cut (cuz I don't want to shrink it down too much....

So, not sure where the shot fits in, but in looking at it, go, okay, they're all basically alive, but hey... where's Radek? Lorne? Chuck? Since when does the female gate tech join 'em? Ah, probably TPTB's idea since Mallozz is rather enamored with pretty actresses ;) Now if someone can just photoshop out the woman and insert Zelenka and/or Lorne, and wow, Rodney and Keller (who's now a blonde?!) sure seem cozy.

The pairings are Rodney/Keller, Teyla/Sheppard/InsaneRonan, GateTechGirl/Woolsey (to keep the midlife crises theme going), and then Carson standing by himself feeling no love.

I'm putting large sums of money on Radek (or possibly Lorne) being dead.

I truly think a lot of fans are going into a countdown mode until the show is over, and then, they'll ignore TPTB and go on with fanfic, or just think about the 'good ole days' and go elsewhere.

Hell, if this is who survives the last episode, I am well and truly glad this is the last season. Not even my tremendous love for John and his team would allow me to watch McKeller save the universe. If they had just kept it in the background, but NOOOOOOOOOOOO.

Word! I will love Sheppard and the team to the end of time and hope the fanfic keeps going that long, but the front and center clubbing over the head of McKeller has squelched my squee. I agree with you, if this is what the whole show is pointed to, I'm glad it is over. Hope this photo is not from the show itself, but I'm afraid that is too much to hope for at this point. Where are Lorne and Zelenka and Chuck???? This picture actually depresses me.

just a thought. keller going blonde? this really shouldn't surprise ya all THAT much. after all, it's prolly because of the sam-past and rodney's chronic, terminal affection for blondes. remember now... BOTH of these ARE character traits that began all the way back during his very first sg-1 appearence in that series's season 5...

AND keller IS such a brown-noser and lapdog who wants to please most everyone that it would not surprise me that she changed her hair color JUST to please mckay.

I never thought anything could leave me longing for the good ole days of Katie Brown, The Invis-girlfriend, but this gag making image is it.

I LOVE Jewel Staite, but I hate Keller. Staite deserved SO much better than this insipid, underdrawn, lame assed character, and nonsense 'love triangle'. If she'd been a little more Kaylee, and a little less 'blah', I could have loved McKeller...but as it stands...NO. N. O.

On the plus side, this rediculous image makes the end of the season palatable. At least they wont be able to clutter up our fanon with anymore of this crud!

Well, crap. I love Jewel but the writers had no clue how to write Keller. They generally have no clue how to write any woman, frankly.

Gah, look at that lovey dovey look Keller has while she's leaning on Rodney! I do like how Teyla and John both have their arms crossed. But they really should have switched places. John needs to be next to Rodney!

And where are Lorne, Radek and Chuck? I hope they're all inside holding down the fort while everone else is admiring the sunset or the ZedPM manufacturing platform, or whatever the hell they seem to be staring at. Why does Amelia, who must be the overnight Gate technician since we've been seeing Chuck all these years, get to be there? Is her shift over? Oooh, it must be the sunrise they're looking at since Amelia's shift is over. The dawning of a new age, blah blah blah. Well, at least Carson gets to share the moment.

Pardon my bitterness. The promise of an Atlantis movie doesn't thrill me when it could have been 20 more episodes for season 6. I wasn't expecting more. I know the actor's contracts were up for re-negotiation and I didn't think the studio was going to shell out more money. But I did think we were going to get our 6 seasons.

I'm probably the only one who got ridiculously excited about Amelia being there on the pic with them. I honestly wish we'd seen more of her this season, but maybe there's hope that we still will.

Not that it wouldn't be cool to have Zelenka and Lorne and Chuck and Carter and Caldwell and Todd up there with them, but I suppose someone must be looking after Atlantis while everyone else is busy watching a pretty sunset or whatever. ;)

I didn't like the last two episodes all that much, but so far, it's save to say that S5 is my favorite season ever, despite the sad lack of McShep interaction so far.

This looks like it could be the last shot of SGA, and it gives me no feeling of love. As you said, why is random girl there ? Why no Lorne nor Zelenka instead ? Or Chuck for that matter, he's at least as important as she is. Oh but yes, none of them have boobs... How could I forget :s.

And where is the team-love ? You know that thing that makes us love Stargate ? And why even bring Carson out if it's to show him as a total outsider ?

And please to be stopping with the hammering of the McKeller ? Subtlety is not for losers dear writers, we all get that you are totally in geek-love with Jewel Staite, but do we have to suffer through it too ?

I was hoping the finale scene would be of the team - doing team stuff - going off to a new mission or seating at a table sharing stories and laughing.

And yes, I know we don't know if it's the finale scene. So I can still hope.

Seriously Lorne or Radek better not be dead, because if one of them (or Chuck) is dead and McKeller are standing there all smiling ... oh the bitterness will raise to all new levels.
