Jewel Straite, who deserves many awards for her role in Firefly, gets a nomination for her lame character on Atlantis for an episode where she has to be rescued again.

Vegas was a great episode, (can't get Solitary Man out of my head.)

Alas, I've figured it's not worth trying to fathom why Jewel is always nominated. She seems a nice enough person, but acting-wise, nothing special...

She's really good in Firefly. I think she is an actress that does well with a good writer (like Joss Whedon)
