Wish they'd let a Stargate spinoff stand on their feet instead of constantly adding SG1 characters... (I like SG1, but I just figure Jack will there to crack bad jokes once more)

Four veterans of the "Stagate" franchise, Richard Dean Anderson, Amanda Tapping, Michael Shanks and Gary Jones, will reprise their roles in guest stints.
Anderson plays General O'Neil, the former leader of the elite military team SG-1. Tapping plays Samantha Carter, an astrophysicist and U.S. Air Force lieutenant colonel. Shanks plays Dr. Daniel Jackson, Stargate's archeologist and linguist. Jones plays Chief Master Sgt. Walter Harriman, commander technician of the team.
Additionally, "Stargate" alum Christopher McDonald will play Sen. Alan Armstrong, the U.S. senator and head of the International Oversight Committee that governs the Stargate program. He is the father to Chloe Armstrong (Elyse Levesque).
Grammy-nominted Janelle Monae will play herself and will perform with her band two songs from her latest album, "Many Moons" and "Sincerely."
Carlo Rota will play Carl Strom, head of the International Oversight Advisory, the civilian oversight committee that heads up the Atlantis expedition and all funding.

With Sam appearing in this one, I have to wonder if the rights issues around her character changed after being a regular on two shows in the franchise, so that just leaves Teal'c out of the loop, along with the rest of the remaining SGA regulars.
Personally, I'd be pleased if no one from the other shows appeared in this hot mess. I'd rather see them in new stuff.
