And I got bored several weeks back, and made this short video of bacon cooking on the stove. It's turkey bacon, hence the sound of cat yowling in background to "feed me!" Vegetarians may avert their eyes ;)

I NEED one of those marvelous BLTs that I eat in summer when tomatoes are at their peek...........
I put is all on a lush Panini roll from Delphina's Bakery with some fine lettuce, also from farmers' market..... tomatoes, mayo, and then fall in love all over again with summer.

I've sworn off tomatoes unless they're fresh off the vine, otherwise they taste like plastic and cost too much. Ah, summer. I want it NOW!

and that is exactly why I wait till they are lush from farmers' market vendors.......incredible
I am going to try growing cherries this coming S-U-M-M-E-R (my special way of channeling summer...:D)and perhaps a few more things in terracotta pots on my front patio which is like Death Valley when the afternoon sun hits it ..........
