Yup, SyFy has pulled the plug on Eureka, and it's not even going to get those six episodes of a sixth season, as they first talked about.
The whole debacle is detailed at http://insidetv.ew.com/2011/08/08/eureka-cancelled/.
Sucks. It was a fun series. Now SyFy has what left? Nothing that I can think of!

Date: 2011-08-09 01:47 pm (UTC)I've been tracking Syfy's over all ratings and you know, they're 'up' a bit vs last summer but they're running two new shows as well (Legend Seeker and Alphas) and considering that, they're not up by much and they're 18-49 rankings are almost dead even vs. last year. So basically they're spending more money for pretty much the same ratings and rankings. Is that how it's supposed to work? lol
