Evolution of a cherry pie
Jul. 29th, 2012 08:42 pmWell, I bought cherries, and I still can't eat them. Allergic to them now, if they're raw. However, if they're baked into a pie....

These are the now pitted cherries, mixed up with sugar and stuff, before I baked it.

Um, did some taste-testing. Had to make sure it was done, right?
And then there were a bunch of cherry pits. Did a quick google, then put them out on the patio, for the ravenous rodents...
burp!

I just love it
For iced (which is particularly amazing)
2 cups of boiling water with 2 bags
When it is sufficient strength, I like it strong for that
real berry taste, then ring out the bags and let it cool
before you place in the fridge
It has a real berry taste, but does include cherries in it too
as well as cranberries.
