Anyway, I donned the glove only cuz I know snakes like to piss all over you to make you release them, and that way, I dont' have to scrub scrub that stench off. As you can see, snake was not pleased. And, I put the little guy in the old garden out back where he'll be safe and sound, so, no critters were harmed in this video.
If you don't like snakes, you can pass over the video to the next one under the cut, which has no snakes.
Video under cut as snake phobia didn't even cross my mind. Sorry! ( I'm sure this is how SyFy film producers got started )
A video your cat might like

Okay, can't understand a word in the video except "Joe Flanigan" but hey, who cares? It's fun to watch, and maybe if we watch enough, we'll learn a word or two of Hungarian ;)
--thanks to lythisrose for the tip
http://www.hdfilms.com/2009/05/12/the-jace-hall-show-visits-stargate-watch-the-promo/ had a small mention about the upcoming Stargate segment on the JACE HALL SHOW... (May 12th)
I was actually impressed that Jace was able to work with MGM for months to get us in to see AND FILM with the actual Stargate. While we were there, Chris Judge was insane enough to play along and do a bit for our show. You should now that we actually don’t necessarily plan our shoots or write them in advance and this little piece promo is actually all improved by the three of us.
Visit link for a screencap plus link to video.
Big thanks to Nic for the exclusive tip :)

Video: Fox visits the backyard
Apr. 10th, 2009 07:53 pmThis was cool, and totally unexpected. While I was waiting for a squirrel to show up to take the donut bait laid out on the patio, I just looked out the window and whoa! the FOX! I've seen it (pretty sure it's the same one) on and off the last year or so, coming down to raid the food I throw out for the crows (old bread, etc.). Anyway, shot this through a window (which yeah, should get washed, but it's gonna rain, so.....).
New MGM video on Stargate Atlantis
Mar. 16th, 2009 07:15 pmGoodbye Atlantis - 4:25 15.9MB - Executive Producer Joseph Mallozzi says goodbye to Atlantis. Watch it in real time - only on SCI FI.
Okay, read some comments about it on GW, then watched it and well, yeah, the folks were right... well, it's got David Hewlett's last day, Jason Momoa's last day, RAchel Luttrell, Jewel Staite, and hello? I sorta recall some guy named Joe Flanigan throughout the entire series?? So I guess Joe M isn't going to miss him? It just seems, well, tacky, not to include the leading actor of the show in the goodbye. I seriously doubt they'd have done that to RDA (well, considering he was a producer, no they wouldn't).
So if you're watching for Joe Flanigan, once the scene atop the gate is over, that's basically it for Joe except far shots, but gad, so weird he's not even mentioned!
Below the cut for size. If you're a spoilerphobe, you might want to avoid photos...
Okay, I have finally escaped reality for a little while, and here is the compilation of links to videos, photos and fan blogs on (mostly) Joe Flanigan & Jason Momoa at this past weekend's UK convention, Chevron 7.2
Exclusive: Rachel Luttrell

Lord only knows why they tell us to watch it in real time. Heck, it only repeats at one in the morning, if then!

Regrettably, not a lot of Joe Flanigan, but still interesting to watch.
New York Comic Con
Jan. 14th, 2009 06:56 pmHowever, Milo Ventimiglia, from HEROES, will be there! As will the cast of Fox's FRINGE! Too bad neither show really interests me, but I may check out their panels if I can find out where the rooms are this year ;) And J. Michael Straczynski from Babylon 5 will be there, too. However Seth Green will be there and I saw five minutes of ROBOT CHICKEN and laughed myself silly.
Unfortunately, Diamond Select Toys has again pushed back the release date for the series 3 Stargate Atlantis action figures until mid-February. Darn! Did I whine about this already? Hmm... anyway, was hoping to pick up a spare Ronon so I could beat one up in action figure theater.
Anywhere, there is a great blog that posts stuff on the con at http://www.mediumatlarge.net. Regrettably, it's where I found this video that is either really cute or makes you want to confess your bank account number if forced to watch repeatedly ;)
Since I actually got some e-mail alerts on my YouTube account, I decided to see if anybody was actually looking at them. I’m sorta surprised…
1,165 hits on a chipmunk eating seeds underneath John Sheppard action figure.
363 watched george the slug crawl over Rodney McKay action figure’s face
918 watched the snippet of David Hewlett from Forever Knight
1,026 watched the snippet of David Hewlett from Night Heat
495 watched a short vid of someone in VERY tight jeans in NYC
2,860 people watched a 14 second clip of of pure black with frogs croaking!
140 watched a woolly bear caterpillar flee across the patio
1,842 watched a squirrel eat the pumpkin, which I later dropped on the action figures ;)
and lastly...
60 people watched a totally black video which consisted of two dogs barking at each other on Christmas Eve
If you’re totally bored, they’re at http://www.youtube.com/user/SquirrelOnRoad ;)

Yes, it would not be Christmas without some seasonal Dalek abuse, although it’s tacky enough it can also last through New Year’s!

Stargate Atlantis: "Vegas" spoiler video
Dec. 13th, 2008 03:15 pmWell, second to last Stargate Atlantis, and if we're lucky, we'll get a nice dose of Sheppard. . Oh, if you click on video, yes, spoilers. Thanks to

Yeah, they spelled David's name wrong, so I wrote them and hopefully they'l fix it.

Of course the Stargate Atlantis action figures had to get into the Halloween experience, even if it was sorta after. Regrettably, what is there to do with a chewed-up pumpkin but to sacrifice it to the wild tree rodents?? Chockful of weak special effects and a so-so plot, but hey, you do get a movie!

Rodney: “Great, now Woolsey is gonna get ticked off we let something attack Atlantis’ only pumpkin.”
Sheppard: “It’s not the end of the world. I’ll have Lorne just paint it over.”
( But of course things never go as planned )( But of course things never go as planned )
